Shipping Rates and Insurance
All shipping rates from Linuxvillage Inc. are based on current rates from our courier companies, based on shipping weight (dimensional/volume).
Insurance (3%) and GST (6%) or HST (14%) is also included in the shipping rate.
Please note that the insurance is a mandatory condition of any shipment originated by Linuxvillage, and is strongly recommended for all third-party shipments.
Local Pickup is currently only available to Ontario Residences. Please see Pickup Depots for further details.
Please note that if your shipment is redirected to an address other than the one specified to us, you will be billed an additional $10.00 handling fee.
Please note that shipments that are paid for by credit-card online must originate from Linuxvillage, and the tracking number will not be given to the customer for security purposes.

Returns & Refunds
For computer packages, Linuxvillage Inc. provides a 2 weeks trail period; an unsatisfied customer may return it for full refund within this period.
Returns must be in resalable condition and in original packaging.
Non computer package itmes have the following conditions. Returns will not be accepted under any of the following circumstances :
- Item is opened and/or used except in defected products.
- Packaging has been damaged or altered.
Linuxvillage Inc. may be willing to make exceptions to these circumstances, but all exceptions are done on a case-by-case basis,
and are at the sole discretion of Linuxvillage Inc. In all circumstances, any service charges, labour charges, etc, will not be refunded.
Shipping charges are refunded one-way only.

Deposits on Orders
Please note that deposits on systems and special orders (10% / Minimum $100 for systems, $20 for special order items) are non-refundable unless agreed upon by Linuxvillage Inc. management.
Deposits are required to order in any item not in-stock, or to assemble any system.
These deposits are required to recover cost of labour, depreciation in value of equipment used, or stock balancing fees charged by distributors.

Defective/Incompatible Products
All defective products must be brought to the attention of Linuxvillage as soon as possible.
We rely on your prompt action to get the distributor or manufacturer to service or replace the item.
Except for computer packages, Linuxvillage Inc. does not handle service or support for retail box products beyond 30 days after receipt.
