Although there are many excellent flavours of Linux out there such Red Hat/Fedora, Novell's SUSE, Unbuntu, Slackware, etc, Linuxvillage have chosen Debian to be install on all our computers. Debian was chosen for its wide selection of prebuild binary packages, stability, non-proprietary/non-bias nature and excellent community support.
The latest stable release of Debian is Etch. For those familiar with Debian, here are the release notes.
We made custom packages to help integrate Debian with our products. Our private repository can be found in the downloads section. All contents in the downloads section are provided at gratis and under the GNU Public License.
